IRVEN, Helen E. (Evans) age 84, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Irven; parents Mathias and Amey Evans; sisters, Nannie Lou; Lola Mae; Cora; and Lorene; and brothers, Elmer, Furrell, and James Evans. She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Bowling, Shirley O'Bryan, Frances Byrd, and Betty Jean (Mike) Norton; brothers, Carl Evans and E.M. (Debbie) Evans; numerous nieces and nephews; special nieces and caregivers, Gaylena and Ruby Powell. A special thanks to Hospice nurse, Debbie Miller and Hospice. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Services will be 11 am Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the funeral home with Elder Duglas Honaker officiating. Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
