Helen Irene Osborne

Helen Irene (Lykins) Osborne, age 63, went on to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday July 3, 2012, after battling a lengthy illness at Kettering Medical Center. Helen was born on March 4, 1949 to the late Leonard and Della Lykins in Vanceburg, KY. She is survived by her sister, Bessie (Rex) Carter; brother, Everet (Shirley-deceased) Lykins; special friend and caregiver, Sharman Madden; nephew, Eddie (Rowena) Lykins; nieces, Charmian (Don) Neese and Tammy Minehart; great nieces, Sarah and Emily Minehart, Elishia Hicks, Amy, Jessica, Brandy and Bobby Lykins; great nephew, Devon Hicks; numerous great-great nieces and nephews; special aunts and uncle, Artie Morgan, Charles and Barbara Lykins; and her beloved dog Pepper. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen C. Osborne and sister-in-law, Shirley Lykins. Helen was a member of International Faith Church in Fairborn. She loved the Lord and enjoyed all her church family and friends and singing her gospel songs. She was loved by all and will be missed by everyone who knew her. A funeral service will be held on Monday July 9, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, where the family will receive friends for an hour prior from 12:00-1:00 pm. Pastor Gordon Kilburn to officiate. Burial will take place at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairborn, OH.
