Helen I. Lumbard, age 78 passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Sunday January 23.
Helen was born in Toronto, Ontario Canada September 30, 1932.
She was a member of the Centerville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald W. Lumbard, her brother-in-law Murray McKee, and her parents Frank & Isobel Wainwright.
Helen is survived by her 2 sisters and brother-in-law, Marion McKee and Roberta & Barrie Taylor, 2 daughters and sons-in-law Karen & Jack Howard and Tracey & Larry Wellmeier, 4 granddaughters and grandson-in-law, Kyrsten Laux, Katie & Eric Stamper, Lisa Sprouse and Lauren Robfogel.
Helen & Don moved to Dayton from Toronto in the early 60's where they raised their two daughters in a warm, loving Christian home. She was able to travel to many exciting places around the world with her husband. They enjoyed working together in the Food Service Dept. for many Kingdom Hall construction projects. Helen was always cheerful, had many dear friends and was truly loved by all those who knew her.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday January 29 from 1:30 - 3:00 followed by a Memorial Service in her honor at 3:00 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6010 Munger Rd, Centerville, OH 45459.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Centerville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses or Hospice of Dayton.
