Helen "Hudus"M. Taylor

TAYLOR, Helen, age 71, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 16, 2009. She is preceded in death by her father, Milo Price; mother, Edith Mildred Price; foster parents, Roy and Pearl Campbell; several siblings, and first husband, Joseph P. Leyes. Helen is survived by her husband, Chester Taylor; siblings, Robert, Linda, Richard, and Patricia; children, Debbie, Forrest, Joseph, Richard, Kathleen, Edith, and Darryl; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, as well as other family members and friends. She enjoyed collecting knick-knacks, playing cards, gardening, spending time with her family, had a love for music, dancing, and birds. Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Miami Cemetery, Waynesville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
