HIEBER, Helen M. (DEIS), age 76, a longtime resident of Beavercreek and Caesarcreek, died after a lengthy illness at Trinity Community. Born in Springfield, OH on June 9, 1936. Daughter of William E. Deis and Helen M. (Lewe) Deis.

Survivors include: her husband of 53 years, Richard A. Hieber; 2 sisters, Judy Steele and Rita Leo; 6 children, Richard A. (Susan), Theresa Clouse (Lew), Christina Orner, Pamela Hull (Tim), Raymond W., Mary Beth Holzapfel (Bob), and ten wonderful grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry, Ken, and Don Deis.

Helen was an accomplished musician and an avid genealogist. She was a member of St. Brigid's choir for over thirty years and a retired City of Xenia secretary.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH on Thursday, June 6, 2013 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia, OH on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 10:30 am, with Fr. John Krumm officiating. Burial will follow at St. Brigid's Cemetery.
