Helen Delores Sassaman

Helen Delores Sassaman, age 79 of Moraine, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Heartland of Miamisburg. She was born January 25, 1936 in Belpre, Ohio the daughter of Warder and Katherine Owens.

She is preceded in death by her parents and numerous siblings.

Helen is survived by her husband, Richard, two sons, Joe DeWinter and Fred DeWinter; three daughters, Barbara Hartley, Brenda DeWinter, and Penny Few; a sister, Rose Livingston; 9 grandchildren, ; and 19 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Friday March 6, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439).
