Helen Butner, age 85 of Xenia, Ohio (formally of Cleveland, Ohio) passed away on December 13, 2020. She was born March 15, 1935 in Tazewell County, Virginia daughter of the late John and Susie Valdo.
Helen was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Helen cherished time with her family and dear friends. Her spirit of compassion for others will always be her enduring memory.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Thomas "Tom" Butner Sr; and brother, Alex Valdo.
Helen is survived by her sons, Tom (Caroline) Butner Jr. and Eric (Carrie) Butner; grandchildren, Chase, Alec, Keith, Jared, and Ian; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Helen will be laid to rest in early Spring next to her late husband at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
