Heber Johnson

JOHNSON, Heber, age 81 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Johnson; parents, Glenn and Lucy Johnson; and brother, Ray Johnson. He is survived by his daughter, Judy Johnson; son, Steve and his wife Stacey Johnson; granddaughter, Amber Johnson and fiance Jay Thomas; grandson, Steven Grant Johnson; great-grandson, Steven Sweeney; sister, Ruth Preston of Lucasville, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was retired from General Motors, a veteran of the US Air Force, a member of the Beaver Valley Lodge 753 FAM, and a charter member of Farmersville Lodge FAM. Funeral services will be 2PM Monday, October 6, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. The family will receive friends from 12PM until time of service. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
