Hazel E. Phibbs

Hazel E. Phibbs, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, age 100, of Dayton, passed away December 27, 2018.

Hazel was born June 12, 1918, in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Smith) Jenkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Phibbs, Sr., 2 sons, Harry E. Phibbs and Larry E. Phibbs.

Hazel is survived by her children, Dwight F. Phibbs (Donna), Joyce A. Boggs (Michael Lewis), Carl D. Phibbs (Brenda), Carol S. Brown (Jimmy Brown), Terry L. Phibbs (Pauline Sherwood), Sandra J Mason (James P. Mason) ; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Newcomer, South Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd, where funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Burial at Beavertown Cemetery.
