Hazel M. Palmer, age 81 of West Milton, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born March 31, 1936 in Estill Springs, Tennessee, the daughter of the late James and Alice Tucker.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Thomas, Dora Tucker; brothers, Harry, Phillip,Larry, Hoyt, Leon Tucker; step-son, Tony Palmer.
Hazel is survived by her husband, Danny; sons, Randall (Patti) Lakes, Steven Lakes, Anthony (Beth) Lakes; daughter, Jeannine (Brook) Snyder; sisters, Betty (Noah) Spencer, Barbara (Richard) Cable; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Hazel loved gardening, cooking, crocheting, bird watching and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 10 am to 11 am at Community Bible Church (1427 W. Main Street, Tipp City, OH 45371). Funeral service will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Miami County or Community Bible Church.
