JENKINS, Hazel M. (Laurent) (Thiery), 89, of West Milton, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2005 following a sudden illness. She loved spending time with her family and working in her flower garden. Hazel was born April 7, 1916 in Bloomington, IL. She was married to Everett Jenkins for 25 wonderful years after the loss of her first husband Edmund J.Thiery. Hazel was her family's "Queen of All Mothers". She was a devout catholic and a member of Transfiguration Church. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her son Robert, 3 brothers Louis, Jim, Albert, and 3 sisters Louise, Ellie, Bertha. Survivors include her children Charles C. (Ann) Thiery of Gig Harbor, WA, Barbara M. (Bill) Calhoun, Joseph A. Thiery, Wayne W. (Rose) Thiery, Velma L. (Danny) Poteet, Sarah S. (Joe) Ladley, Wanda M. (Anthony) Mader, and Linda M. (Mark) Juntila of Gig Harbor, WA. 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, sisters Mary Wolski and Martha (Terry) Moore. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 12PM Friday, June 3 at Transfiguration Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, from 10-11AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road in Dayton.
