Hazel Holbrook

Hazel L. Holbrook, age 85 of Centerville, passed away October 27, 2015. She was born August 14, 1930 in Whitesburg, KY to the late Silas and Ora Fields. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her brothers: Kenny Ray, Billy Joe, Monnie, Paul and Roger; and sisters: Betty and Eleanor.

Hazel is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Albert Holbrook; son, Mark Holbrook; daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer and Duane Flesburg; grandchildren: Aaron, Jessica, Jamie Lee, Jacob, Zachary, Phillip and Daniel; great-grandchildren: Michelle, Erin, Isaiah, Josiah, Hazel Isabella and Noah; brother, Mack Fields; sisters: Vera Caudill, Lila (Perry) Apking, Judy (Charles) Kelly and Stella (David) Asher; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Hazel was a member of Far Hills Community Church. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., visitation will be held from 10-11 am. Burial to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.

Contributions may be made in Hazel's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Multiple Sclerosis Society or to Far Hills Community Church.
