Hazel Yvonne Brown-Thompson

Hazel Yvonne Brown-Thompson, age 65, of Dayton passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 7, 2023. She was born in Fairborn, Ohio at Wright-Patterson AFB Hospital on January 11, 1958 to the late Ezzie Jr. and Margielene Brown. In addition to her parents, Hazel is preceded in death by her sisters, Sonja Burney, Nancy Brown; maternal grandparents, Alfred Alton John Morgan, Juanita Walker; paternal grandparents, Ezzie and Queenie Brown Sr. and favorite uncle, Alfred "Van" Morgan.

Hazel is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Roger; children, Carmen (Kory) Middlebrooks, Kelly W. Thompson; 4 granddaughters, Jayla, Kamari, Ja'Kaylei, Rylah; 2 grandsons, Quinton, Ke'Von; brothers, Larry Brown, Michael Walker, James (Joni) Thompson, Eric Thompson; sister, Deborah (Isreal) Thompson; mother-in-law, Rebecca Thompson and 2 special friends, Ronnie Moreland, Nancy Meade Brown; along with an abundance of close family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Reverend Lavon Mann to officiate.
