Age 69, of Riverside, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 15, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Monnie Johnson; and by one son, Steven Evans.
Hattie is survived by her husband of the past 50 years, Carl H. Evans; one son, Randy & Jeneen Evans; one daughter, Penny Sturgill; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, William M. Johnson; and by her extended family and many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday with interment to follow at Byron Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Hattie to the American Cancer Society.
