Harvey G. Thorpe, 91, of Beavercreek passed away on May 3, 2021.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Dorothy J. (Dillard) Thorpe; son Carey W. Thorpe, daughter Karen R. Olson (Brian), and daughter Kara L. Hammonds (David), five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Harvey was an active member in the Beavercreek Senior Center for many years where he played pool and sponsored several of their pool tournaments. He also enjoyed playing golf and was on the Systems Research Lab golf team for many years, before retiring after 20 years as a design engineer. In his younger years he also bowled on a Beavercreek Bowling league.
A viewing will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH) on Saturday, May 8th from
2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Beavercreek Senior Center, The American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association, or your favorite charity.
