Harry William Underwood, age 79 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020.
On June 14, 1940, Donald and Louise Underwood gave birth the a little boy in Dayton, Ohio. Little did they know he would grow up to touch so many lives as a local hero and a first responder. Harry proudly volunteered as a Deputy Sheriff and worked as a firefighter in Harrison Township, Ohio.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where the funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. Harry will be laid to rest at Shiloh Park Cemetery with his parents.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Harry's memory to The Montgomery County Law Enforcement Memorial, "MCLEM", PO Box 1082, Dayton, Ohio 45401.
