Harry R. Shriver

Harry R. "Harv" Shriver, age 87 of Northridge, passed away March 2, 2017. He was born May 6, 1929 in Sugar Tree Ridge, OH to the late Harry E. and Lucy Shriver. In addition to his parents, Harv was preceded in death by his wife, A. Eileen Shriver; and sister, Jane McIntyre.

Harv is survived by his sons: Steve (Cheryl) Shriver and Douglas Shriver; grandchildren: Jennifer (Chad), Steve (Carri), Ryan (Courtney) and Melissa (Justin); great-grandchildren: Alexis, Hannah, Evan, Kaden and Jayce; sister, Shirley Underwood; brother, Walter Shriver; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Harv retired from GM Truck and Bus Company; and was a Northridge Amateur Baseball coach for many years.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Willow View Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Harv's memory to Hospice of the Miami Valley.
