Harry L. Ashley

ASHLEY, Harry L., age 63, of Medway, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010. He was born February 24, 1947 in Viper County, Kentucky, to William and Alamancy (Amburgey) Ashley. He joined the Navy and served on the Robert K. Huntington from 1966 to 1969. After returning home from the Navy, Harry went to work for Southwestern Portland Cement Company (CEMEX)in Xenia where he retired after 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Adkins) Ashley; three sons, Paul, Phillip, and Shawn; his nephew, Chris Baker; his sister, Dale Woods; sister and brother-in-law, Joe and Thelma (Ashley) Brashier of Hazard, Kentucky; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Ashley. A gathering of friends will be held Monday, January 3, 2011 from 4-8 pm at the AMVETS Post 184 (11425 Lower Valley Pike, Medway, OH.
