"Big Harry"
Age 53, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010.
"Big Harry" was preceded in death by his father, Richard Edwards, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Edwards; one brother, Richard (Eurlene) Edwards; one sister, Patricia Edwards; one niece, Yolanda (Damon) Stewart; great nephews, Damon II & Donovan; great niece, Jasmin; aunt, Ann Crutcher; cousins, Ronnie, Reggie & Jimmy; and by his extended family & many good friends.
"Big Harry" graduated from Roosevelt HS in 1974 and later the Columbus Institute of Technology. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Roth Falcons, the Dunbar Wolverines & The Ohio State Buckeyes (Go Bucks!).
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Church of Miracles Ministries, 308 Maeder Avenue, Dayton. Interment to follow at West Memory Gardens.
