Harry Arthur Berry, age 78 of Kettering, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 30, 1942 in Springfield, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Melvina Berry; brothers, Thomas Berry, Kenneth (Ester) Berry and sister, Betty (Wally) Raulston.
Harry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rebecca Lee Berry; son, Paul (Tammy) Berry; daughter, Diana Arnold; three step-sons, Nathan, Patrick, and Matthew (Sarah) Hoffman; fifteen grandchildren and his brother, Ralph (Arlene) Berry; sister-in-law Barbara Berry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Harry was a devoted husband, caring father, and proud Army veteran. He was a member of The Sons of the American Revolution and of The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Harry was an avid train collector. In his spare time he enjoyed telling stories, fishing, gardening, and mushroom hunting.
