Harry R. Bearfield, age 74, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023. He was born on February 19, 1949 in DuBois, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Christina and Harry M. Bearfield and his sisters, Beverly and Betty.
He is survived by his wife, Delfrida Bearfield; his daughters, Petronila (David) Gambrel and Mary (Shawn) Shearer; his grandchildren, Nicholas Scott, Morgan Weidner, Hunter Gambrel, Sylas Gambrel, Shianne Shearer and Cotton Gambrel; his great-grandsons, Colsin Gambrel, Liam Gambrel and Grant Weidner; his sisters, Ruth Motter, Mary Lou Eckerd, Patty Hedke, Janet Bearfield and his brother, Robert Bearfield. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Breast Cancer Foundation.
Memorial gathering will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with Navy Funeral Honors to follow, all at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
