BALLARD, Harry "Big Ed", age 52, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008. He is survived by his parents, Harry, Sr. and Virginia Ballard; fiancée, Beth Stange; aunt, Gladys Jones, cousins, Sharon Marksberry, Kenneth and Evelyn Woolery, as well as many others, and close friend, John Egan. He worked for many years in radio and as a disc jockey, where he came to know many people. Harry's passions included music, the Cincinnati Reds, Dallas Cowboys, and his beloved canine companion, Tasha. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
