ARMSTRONG, Harry L., Jr. "Jack" age 72, of Vandalia passed away Sunday May 6, 2012.
He was born June 26 1939 in Marion, Ohio, son of the late Harry and Ruth (Southward) Armstrong. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Comstock.
Harry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon (Tatman) Armstrong and his son, Michael and (Doreen Giani) Armstrong of Middletown; 5 grandchildren, Ashley, Katelynn, Troy, Brad, and Spencer; 3 great-grandchildren, Braxton, Brennen, and Brayleigh; sister, Janice Gosnell of Marion, OH; brother, Steve (Val) Armstrong of Spiceland, IN; sister, Kathy Butterman of Marion, OH; brother, Jon Armstrong Mt. Gilead, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Harry was plant manager of B&L Packaging for 24 years before retiring in 2005.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore Rd., with Pastor, Richard Prater officiating.
