Harriet L. Grable

Harriet " Susie" L. Grable, age 83 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully June 28, 2020. She was born November 5, 1936 in Mount Vernon, OH to the late Louis and Martha Durbin.

Susie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, Nascar racing, and gardening. Susie loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader. Susie's career started in accounting and then later in life she pursued a degree in Nursing retiring at the age of 62.

In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanie Marie Bouffioux; grandson, Kerry Nicholas Bouffioux; and husband, Richard "Pete" Grable.

Susie is survived by her children, Larry (Carol) Bouffioux, Tim (Belinda) Bouffioux, John Bouffioux, Rusty Bouffioux, Scott Bouffioux, Amy (Brian) Pritchett, and Laurie Slomski; grandchildren, Ryan Bouffioux, Conor Bouffioux, Alexis Snell, Allison Rynearson, Sadie Bouffioux, Steven Bouffioux, Sarah Byrd, Jonathan Bouffioux, Andrew Pritchett, Michael Pritchett, Tyler Slomski, and Olivia Slomski; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Ellen Mathys; former husband, Maurice (Carol) Bouffioux; and 3 nieces.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
