Warren, Harold Wayne, age 84, of Kettering, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014. Harold was born March 30, 1930 in Holyoke, Colorado to the late Charles E. & Sylvia (Struckmeyer) Warren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Harold was a United States Air Force Retiree with over 20 years of service to his country. He was a long time member and usher at the Church of the Ascension in Kettering and volunteered at the Kettering Police Department in the property room.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Doris (White) Warren; children and spouses: Patty (John) Nodzak, Allen (Debbie) Warren, Donna Warren, Jerry Warren & Joanne (Kevin) Boston; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law: Leonard (Pat) Warren; and numerous other family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Dr., Kettering. Interment will follow Mass at Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends AT CHURCH on Wednesday morning from 10:30 A.M. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, in memory of Harold. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel.
