Harold Steinke

STEINKE, Harold age 79 passed away February 3, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; parents, Isador and Iona; 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.

He is survived by children, Harold (Carol), Debbie (Lloyd) Tripp, and Dennis (Mary Beth), grandchildren, Deron (Mandy), Kelli (Wade) Walcutt, Nelson (Christen), Kevin (Amy) Tripp, and Amy Tripp; great granddaughter, Savannah Steinke; sister, Dorothy Ann Webber; sisters-in-law, Anne and Dorothy Steinke; brother-in-law, Mentor Slade; sister-in-law, Janet (Harold) West; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a life long member of Holy Trinity Parish. He worked at NCR for 25 years and retired from Estee Mold and Die. He enjoyed sports, gardening, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton – Xenia Rd. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
