Harold R. Williams, age 90, of Kettering, passed away Friday, February 27, 2009. He was born September 19, 1918 in Linden Station, Wisconsin, to the late Antony & Meta Williams. Harold was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Anne Williams. Harold is survived by his children Sandra (Charles) Dejoseph, Greg (Linda) Williams and Raymond Williams; grandchildren Teresa (John) Macaluso, Douglas (Alana) Dejoseph, Christina (Kevin) Reed, Jeff Plak and Erika Plak; great-grandchildren Luca and Isabella Dejoseph, Garrett and Madeline Reed and Kahlab Plak; and brother Kenneth Williams. He was an active member of the Ascension Church for 50 years. Harold served in the US Army during WWII. He was a chef and worked at Terry's Cafeteria in Piqua and at the University of Dayton. The family will receive friends Tuesday March 3, 2009 from 5-7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 10:30 am at the funeral home, officiating Father Chris Worland. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
