Harold L. Phelps, age 92, of Dayton, passed away May 9, 2023. He was born April 8, 1931 in Argillite, KY to the late Charles and Leora Phelps. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Harold is survived by his lifelong partner, Lorraine "Pete" Young; daughter, Gayle Simpkins (Rick); grandchildren: Craig, Crista and Casey (Tony); great-grandchildren: Alex, Amanda and Braylon; great-great-grandchildren: Jackson and James; sister, Ann Howard; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Harold retired from General Motors, trained race horses for many years and loved playing golf.
