Harold L. Moore

Harold L. Moore, age 73 of Huber Heights, passed away March 22, 2018. He was born February 24, 1945 in Atchison, KS to the late Wilburn and Sylvia Moore. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Egbert; nephew, Dallas Egbert; and half-brother, Clifford Moore.

Harold is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Jo Moore; sons: Chris (Robyn) Moore and Patrick (Jami) Moore; 4 grandchildren: Liam, Sloane, Sophia and Owen; sister, Betty (Mel) Gross; brother-in-law, Jim Egbert; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Harold worked at Gemini Eye Care Centers for 41 years. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, where he was an usher for many years.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights. Father Ethan Moore, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Harold's memory to St. Peter Catholic Church or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
