Harold W. Miller, age 77, of Dayton, Ohio passed away May 9, 2020. He was born September 19, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harold and Delores Miller.
Harold was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Harold retired from Kroger after 46 years of employment. Harold loved to travel and had been to 87 countries. He enjoyed going to movies, listening to music, and loved to eat. He was a special man that had a sense of humor and enjoyed bring a smile to everyone's face. He was a friendly guy who would stop and make it a point to talk to others.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Ruth Miller; aunts, Gladys Qvick, Phyllis Pence and Donna Rogge; uncle, Louellen "Shorty" Miller; and cousin, Robert Wooden
Harold is survived by his sons, Mark and Shane (Amy) Miller; grandchildren, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Kazdan, Dylan, and Madison; siblings, Gary (Renee) Miller of TN, Donnie Miller of FL, and Bonnie Starly of FL; aunts, Nita Whited of FL and Barb Garrett; cousins and caregivers, David Pence and Brenda Wooden; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Service will begin at 12:30 pm with Pastor John Manley officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made in Harold's name to Alzheimer Association and or Diabetes Association.
