Harold B. Mercer, age 77 of Springfield, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017. He was born November 16, 1939 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Elbert and Virginia Mercer.


Harold will be missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Evelyn; brother Merl Sonny Mercer, and two sisters, Judy Hayes and Barbara Robinson: children, Linda (Bill) Hill, Todd (Katrina) Mercer, Scott Mercer, Cindy Mercer, Brayden Mercer, MyKayla Mercer, Desirae Mercer, Angelica (Jared) Mercer, Karlene (Rambo) Morgan, Kim Gregory (and family), Charissa (John Foster) Smoak, and Jeff Hennis.

Grandchildren, Jacob Plummer, Kiera Plummer, Annabelle Smoak, Michaela Foster, Karl Mercer, Stephen Mercer, Ronnie Baker, Randi (Joseph) Kidder, Lindsey (Shane Moneymaker) Stratton and Megan (Tyler Gigliotti) Mercer, Caroline Mercer, Heather Mercer, Jay Crespo, Joshua Mercer, and Christopher (Brittany) Hill, and Bridget Hayner.

Great-grandchildren, Cayden Kidder, Conner Kidder, Clayten Kidder, Taylor Baker, Shalin Moneymaker, Layne Moneymaker and Luna Gigliotti, Hunter Mae Crespo, Allyson (Kolbie) Mercer and Christopher Hill, and Lucas Haynes

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6-8pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Salvation Army in Springfield, Ohio.
