Harold Haas

Harold "Herb" Haas, age 78, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Masonic Home. He was born February 1, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Harold and Helen Haas.

Herb is survived by his loving wife, Venita; six daughters, Christina Smith, Rebecca (Scott) McDonald, Tina (Richard) Farrell, Joan (Jim) Roberts, Lora (Ron) Gilbert and Tonya (Jon) Brock; five sons, Joseph Haas, Anthony Haas, John Moody, Dwight Moody and Harley Haas; sister, Mary Helen Motch; two brothers, Bill Haas, Ted Haas; he is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
