Harold Gene Smith, Sr.

SMITH, Harold Gene, Sr., age 59, of Spring Valley, OH, passed away September 19, 2007. He was born July 14, 1948 in Clayhole, KY, the son of Donlow and Virgie (Hounshell) Smith. Harold was a brick mason for many years. He is survived by his wife, Marie Smith; daughter, Kelly McFall; three sons, Harold Gene Smith, Jr., Jody McPherson, and Jamie McPherson; 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents; 7 brothers, Johnny, Vernon, Charles, Nathan, French, Donlow, Jr, and Shade; 3 sisters, Lillie Russell, Pauline Adams, and Fern Lovins. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 4-6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH, 45432) and Monday, September 24, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at Breathitt Funeral Home in Jackson, KY (Mountain Parkway, Jackson, KY). Funeral services will be held Monday, September 24, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at Breathitt Funeral Home. Burial will follow at McIntosh Cemetery in Clayhole, KY.
