FUTRELL, Harold Gene age 70, of Dayton PASSED AWAY Saturday, May 2nd 2020 at, Miami Valley Hospital.
He was born on March 26th, 1950 to Mary and Howard Futrell in Campbell County, Tennessee.
He is an Army Veteran, serving our country in the Vietnam War. His profession as a truck driver allowed him to see a lot of the country until finally retiring from Planes Moving and Storage. He was also a cancer survivor.
Preceded in death by wife, Henrietta; parents, Mary and Howard; stepfather, Edwin Harper; brothers, Joe Futrell and Larry Spradlin and step brother, Dallas Harper.
Harold is survived by his three loving daughters and grandchildren: Tina (Kali), Tracy (Sage) and Diana (Michael, Makalia and Emily); sister, Joyce (Mark) Howley; brothers, Eddie Futrell, Bobby and Gary Spradlin; many Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and special friend, Donna Springer.
Dad was a simple man and will be placed to rest with his brother Joe 'Fat Boy' at Dayton Memorial Park when we are able to gather together. The one thing that we will remember him by is that he did not use the word goodbye, it was always "later."
