Harold Doolin, Jr., age 70 of N. Fort Myers, FL, passed away July 25, 2015. He was born March 2, 1945 in Lexington, KY. Harold was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Mae Dunn; brother, Freddie Doolin; son, Robert L. Doolin; and wife, Billie S. Doolin.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Kelley (Brad) Hensley; son, Jeffrey (Mary) Riddle; 8 grandchildren: Larry, Tracy, Bradley, Ashley, Brittany, Brianna, Marissa and Casady; 2 great-grandchildren: Cooper and Allyenna; brothers: William Doolin and Kenneth (Fay) Doolin; sister, Betty Martin; step-children: James (Jeanie) Hanshell and Penny Ashley; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Harold retired after many years of service from Franklin Auto Sales. After retirement, he enjoyed spending the winters in Florida with his wife, Billie. Harold and Billie loved to karaoke with family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by many.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 - 2:30 pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., followed by a funeral service at 2:30 pm. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Harold's memory to The Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
