Harold Burns

Harold B. Burns, age 80 of Franklin, formerly of Jamestown, passed away November 26, 2014. He was born May 21, 1934 in Dayton to the late William and Marie Burns. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Burns; step-son, Robert Lane; and many brothers and sisters.

Harold is survived by his children: William B. (Karen) Burns, Dennis (Nancy) Burns, Danny (Bronson) Burns; step-children: Rebecca Lane and Gordon Lane; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Virginia White; brother, Robert Burns; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:30-1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Harold's memory to the Hospice of Middletown.
