Harold B. Harris

HARRIS, Harold B., age 90, of Beavercreek, died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 4, 1918, in London, Kentucky to John and Cammy Harris. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ruth S. Harris; son, Harold B. Harris, Jr. and spouse, Billie C. Harris; daughter-in-law, Kathy Harris (South Carolina); granddaughters, Kathy Williams (Georgia) and Beth Green and spouse, Bruce Green (Beavercreek); great grandchildren, Emma and Wesley Green (Beavercreek). He is preceded in death by his parents, 12 brothers and sisters, and son, John R. Harris. Harold retired from the Air Force in 1974 with 34 years of Civil Service, was a past Masonic Grand Master and member of the Fairborn St. Luke United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek, 3218 Indian Ripple Rd, Dayton, OH. Rev. Bev Jenkins will preside. A private burial service will be held immediately following at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
