Harmon Woody, Sr

WOODY, Harmon E., Sr., 71, of Huber Heights passed away Monday April 20, 2009. He was a veteran in the U.S. Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents Willard and Ella Woody; brothers Paul David Woody and Guy Woody; and brother-in-law John Bentley. Harmon is survived by his wife of 50 years, Guyneth Woody; children Harmon (Susan) Woody, Jr, David (Laura) Woody, and Rene Eckman; grandchildren Randy Eckman, Rachel Woody, Christy Eckman, Melissa Woody; brothers Bill (Geraldine) Woody, Audley (Nancy) Woody, Jack (Cookie) Woody, and John (Elaine) Woody; sisters Nell Bentley, Bennie (Jim) Lotts, Marilyn (Norman) Lotts, Mary (Richard) VanTine, Nancy (Bill) Cyzick, and Linda (Rolland) Kauppila; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends, including Judi Manning and Dianna McKnight. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Saturday April 25, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Rev. Richard VanTine will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Friday April 24, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Dayton Memorial Park.
