Harmon L. Sparks, age 73, of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away on November 6, 2022. He was born on February 26, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Stella Sparks. In addition to his parents, Harmon was preceded in death by his grandparents; nephew: Charles D. Coterel; and brothers in law: Henry Dixon and Charles Coterel.
Harmon is survived by his siblings: Jerel (Elaine) Sparks, Norma Dixon, Martha Coterel; nephews: Donald Cole, Brad Sparks, Robert S. Coterel, and Jeffrey Sparks; numerous great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
Harmon enjoyed being outdoors, riding his bike, and going to church. He loved to spend time with his family any chance he could.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will begin at 1:30pm, officiated by Pastor David Renfro. Harmon will be laid to rest at Shiloh Park Cemetery following the service.
