Harley Lee Scurlock

February 2, 1953 — February 19, 2023

Harley "Harry" Lee Scurlock of Englewood, Ohio (formerly of St. Pauls, NC), the son of the late James A. Scurlock and Margaret (McLean) Scurlock, was born on February 2, 1953. Harley went home to be with the Lord at Hospice of Dayton on February 19, 2023.

He is preceded in death by a daughter Lakisha Jackson; and seven brothers: James and Willie Lee McLean; Robert Lee, Johnny Mack, Isaiah, Albert and Alan Scurlock.

Harley was employed by Croft Metals and Metcon as a supervisor for many years and was looked up to by the family as man who gained success in the construction business.

He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter, Fantaisha Perry (Eric) of Raleigh; son, Chabosca White (Kari) of Aberdeen; eight grandchildren: Camrynn, Kore, Kamore, Christian, Eric, Lana, Chabosca and Kylan; six sisters: Annie Margaret Scurlock of Englewood, Ohio, Virginia Scurlock, Angela Bruton (Leon) and Brenda Scurlock of Lumber Bridge, Deloise Matos of Fuquay-Varina, and Mary Scurlock of St. Pauls; and a brother William Henry Scurlock of Lumber Bridge. He also leaves two special nieces, Cynthia Harris (Phillip) and Margo Scurlock (James) of Englewood, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 18, 2023 beginning at 1:00pm at Lumber Bridge Community Center- 220 Railroad Street, Lumber Bridge NC 28357.
