MERCER, Harley "Eddie", age 70, passed away February 24, 2011 at The Hospice of Dayton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Hallie Mercer, Sr.; sister, Juanita Curtis; granddaughter, Sara Gene Mercer; and brother-in-law, Paul Darner.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley L.; children, Paula (Terry) Montgomery, Rick Mercer, Tina Mercer, Scott Mercer, Vicki Bundy Marine; sisters, Viola Darner, Dru Stollings, and Kay (Ned) Martin; brother Thomas (Sharon) Mercer; grandchildren, Brandi, Carrie, Joshua, Jesse, Michael, and Christian; great-grandchild, Alexis; and loving dog, Cody.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.
