Hans F. Burkart, age 89 of Kettering, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Kettering Health Main Campus. He was born March 4, 1933 in Germany, the son of the late Karl and Margarete Burkart.
Hans came to the United States 11 years ago. He enjoyed woodworking, going for walks, watching soccer, playing foosball, showing rabbits, but most importantly, he loved God and reading his Bible.
Hans is survived by his daughters, Ulrike (Robert) Blankenship and Romy (Gary) Wilson; grandchildren, Jeany (Robert), Denise M. (Chuck), Denise H. (Brian), David (Courtney), Darrell (Megan), Bettina, Barry (Courtney), Joseph, Daniel, James, John, Michelle, and Luke; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Inge Brannum; Wolfgang Brandt and family; niece, Rhonda Brannum; and beloved cat, Jake.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Burkart; as well as several siblings.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
