Hampton F. Swafford, age 79 of Miamisburg, passed away May 27, 2015. He was born August 2, 1935 in Litton, TN to the late Earnest and Pearl Swafford. He was preceded in death by siblings: Maxie, Earnestine, Burneda, Joyce, Dixie and Bud.
Hamp is survived by his wife of 59 years, Wanda Swafford; daughters and sons-in-law: Connie and Buzz Hanke & Marsha and Johnny Mac; three grandsons: Jason (Shannon), Bradley (Danielle) and Joshua (Sarah); three great grandchildren: Jenna, Bradley and Joshua; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Hamp retired from Miamisburg City Schools. He was a former employee of Hankins Container. Hamp was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and loved NASCAR.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Rt. 48 & E. Lytle Five Points Road, Centerville. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
