Haley E. Adkins

July 27, 1948 — April 20, 2025

Fairborn, Ohio

Haley E. Adkins (Moore), 76, of Fairborn Ohio, went to her heavenly home on Sunday April 20, 2025. She is survived by her Husband Darrell Adkins. They celebrated 60 years of marriage on April 3, 2025.

Haley was born July 27, 1948, in Sandy Hook, KY, daughter of the late Fred and Carmie Moore. She was proceeded in death by two brothers Harrison Moore, and Herman Moore and one sister Clare Lewis. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children Harold (Judy) Adkins, Sandra (Mark) Henson, and Lois Adkins; grandkids Markie Henson, Brandi (Tyler) Southerland, John (Desire') Henson, and Tianna Adkins; great grandkids Bentlee, Haley, James, Nevaeh, and Kenzlie; sister Irene Hammons, and brother Thurman Moore.

Haley enjoyed reading God's word and finding new recipes. She loved "cooking through Darrell" and after many years he became a great cook. She also enjoyed listening to music especially old hymns as well as coloring and playing games with her babies. Her favorite time was time spent with Darrell as they enjoyed fishing and camping, talking late into the night, watching old westerns and game shows. She enjoyed anytime spent with family and friends.

Haley was always ready and willing to listen with a caring heart and an open mind. She was supportive and loved unconditionally. She spoke with honest, caring, loving answers and would always let you know that you could do anything that you set your mind to. Haley was very giving and willing to give back to others, even during her later years. She would also find ways to help and support others in need.

Haley will be forever missed by all, for her guidance, heartfelt conversations, love, and affection. She will be missed for the way her smile would light up a room, her giving of warm hugs, as well as her unwavering love and support. These were a constant source of strength to all who knew her.  Mamaw would always say to her babies "I love you more than moon, the stars, and sun up above."

Haley loved the song Just a Little Talk with Jesus. She would want you to have a talk with Jesus, because she would want you to know your relationship with Jesus is your way to peace, love and your only way to Heaven. Her life was a blessing. Her memory a treasure to all that was blessed to have her in their lives.
