Hal Dustin Caudill, Sr.
Born June 10, 1943, passed away at 6:30 AM on June 5th, 2009 under the care of the VA Hospice of Dayton Ohio. A loving Father, Brother, and Grandfather. He was preceded in death by Father Mervin B. Caudill and Mother Ann E. Caudill (Chadwick), Wife Linda Sue Caudill and Brother Mervin E. Caudill. Survived by two daughters; Sherry J. Barlowe and Stephanie L. Caudill. Four sons; Jimmy D. Dawes, Hal D. Caudill Jr., Darrell A. Dawes and Greg A. Caudill, and Grandchildren Lisa, Brian, Mathew, Greg, JD, and Warren, and Great Grandchildren, Dylan, DongNoVan, and Devin. Two Brothers, Ronald K. and Hershel D. Caudill (Jeree). Eleven Sisters, VinFite, Dorothy Etherington, Barbara Tipton (Virgil), Clotele Williams, Evelyn Rupert (Charles), Rita Coburn, Debra Caudill, Connie Himmelberger (Denis), Laura Schmolinski (Alford), Vickie Weaver, Ava Scott (Kevin), numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Best friends include Ray and Judy Buck, Darrell Isaac and many more too numerous to mention. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Life member of VFW Post 9936 and a member of the AMVETS and American Legion. The family will be receiving friends starting at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., with interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Following committal services there will be a gathering of family & friends at the VFW Post # 9936.
