H. Cleo Spear
September 6, 1926 — February 2, 2019
H. Cleo Spear, age 92, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 2, 2019.
Cleo was born September 6, 1926 to the late Ellis & Nova Spear. Cleo taught for Dayton City Schools for 35 years. She had a kind heart and was a joy to be around. Cleo was a loving aunt to all.
She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Cleo is survived by her nephew, Kevin Killion & his girlfriend, Holly; great-niece & nephew, Matthew and Elizabeth; sister-in-law, Sheila Spear; niece, Barb Spear & family; and many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Trinity Community & all her friends for their support.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 1-2pm at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 2pm. Cleo will be laid to rest at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton, OH.
