H. R. Kenney

KENNEY, H.R., age 77 of Dayton passed away Friday, October 13, 2006. He loved the outdoors, nature, autumn, meeting people, and above all, his family. He served his country in the US Navy. He was active with North Riverdale Little League for many years, and he was an avid Buckeye fan. H.R. is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dona; children: Bridget and Michael; grandchildren: Chris, Jamie, Bryan, Alex; great-grandchildren: Patrick, Mia, Melanie and Michael; sisters: Leona and Deenie; and many friends, especially the friends he made delivering flowers to various area florists. A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 Monday, October 16th at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.). Family and friends will gather to share memories from 10-11:00AM.
