H. Lloyd Lyons

December 6, 1957 — April 20, 2016

LYONS, H Lloyd, age 58 of Kettering, passed away on April 20, 2016. He was born in Dayton to the late Herman and Viola Lyons. He worked for CareSource as a data analyst and previously worked for Anthem. He enjoyed spending his free time riding his Harley, bowling, and working on cars with his son. He was the assistant coach for the Kettering Fairmont Bowling Team and coached baseball and football for his children. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Herschel Lyons.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Loren Lyons; children, Taylor and Paul; granddaughter, Anastasia; brothers, Virgil Lyons and Roger Lyons; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd) from 4pm - 8pm. Funeral service will be held the next day, Thursday, at the funeral home at 1:30pm. Burial to follow at David's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lloyd's memory to the American Cancer Society.
