Gyozo Dome

Döme, Gyozo (Victor) 78, died Wed., August 26, 2009. Born March 8, 1931 in Hungary; became a True Freedom Fighter during the 1956 Revolt. Wrote many poems using his pen name Viharos Viktor. Came to the United States via Sweden in 1963. Retired from General Motors after 30 years; there he formed many lasting friendships. Preceded in death by his sister, Eva Horanyi. Survived by sons Victor (Margot), John (Kerri); daughter Gabrielle Cooney, two daughters in Sweden: Eva (Kent Waldemar) and Tünde; former wife Marjorie Döme, brother-in-law John Horanyi; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews plus a wealth of dear friends, including special friend Linda Houseworth. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Friday, September 4, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton with service immediately following.
