Gwendolyn S. Rose, age 71 of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born November 30, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer Miller and Juanita Griffin.

Gwenn retired from Wright State University as a computer programmer after 20 plus years. She had a beautiful singing voice and loved to dance. She was an avid reader, who especially enjoyed the Harry Potter series. She also enjoyed crafts, cross stitching and collecting elephants.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lilly and George Lamb; paternal grandparents, Frank & Virgie Miller.

Gwenn is survived by her daughter, Brandi S. (Greg ) Ray; son, Kyle P. Ferguson; 5 grandchildren; brother, Russell D. Miller and many other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Gwenn's honor.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a Memorial Service 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home(3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). To share a memory of Gwendolyn or leave a special message for her family, please visit the guestbook below.
